Go Cleanup Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Summary

This Privacy Policy explains what data the Go Cleanup mobile application ("App"), provided by Inak IT Solutions LLC ("we," "us," "our"), accesses, how it's used, and your choices. It's written to describe exactly what the App does — not more, not less.

In short: your photos, videos, audio files, screenshots, and contacts are scanned entirely on your own device and never uploaded to us. If you connect an email account, the App talks directly to your provider using their own sign-in process — we do not run a mail server or store copies of your messages. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google; we only receive your entitlement status, never your card details. Free plan users see ads from Google AdMob; Pro subscribers do not.

1. Information We Access On-Device (Never Uploaded)

To provide the App's core cleanup features, the App reads your photo and video library (via Apple's PhotoKit on iOS or Android's MediaStore) to find duplicates, similar photos, screenshots, and large videos; audio files you've picked or that live in your media library, to find duplicate audio; and your contacts (via Apple's Contacts framework or Android's Contacts Provider), to find duplicate or incomplete entries.

All of this scanning happens locally, using on-device processing. None of it is transmitted to Inak IT Solutions LLC or stored on any server we operate. Deleting, merging, or restoring items happens directly against your device's photo library, contacts, or the App's recycle bin.

2. Email Account Data (Only If You Connect One)

If you choose to connect a Gmail or Outlook account for the email cleanup feature, the App uses that provider's own OAuth sign-in flow: you sign in directly with Google or Microsoft, and we never see or store your email password.

The App requests only the permissions needed to list, categorize, and delete/trash messages and to unsubscribe from senders on your behalf, at your direction. Message content and metadata are read directly from your provider's servers to your device to show you what can be cleaned up; we do not route this data through, or store a copy of it on, our own servers, because Go Cleanup does not operate a backend server.

You can disconnect your email account at any time from within the App, which stops the App's access going forward. You can also revoke access directly from your Google or Microsoft account's security settings at any time.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management platform, to check whether your Apple ID or Google account currently has an active Pro entitlement. RevenueCat and the App Store/Play Store may receive a device or account identifier to associate your purchase with your entitlement, but we never receive or store your payment card number or billing address.

4. Advertising

Free plan users are shown interstitial ads through Google AdMob. On iOS, the App asks for App Tracking Transparency ("Allow Tracking") permission — if you allow it, Google may use your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads; if you decline, or on Android, ads are still shown but are not personalized using that identifier.

Where required (for example, for users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland), the App shows a Google-provided consent form, via Google's User Messaging Platform, before requesting ads, so you can control ad personalization and other consent choices.

Google's own privacy policy governs what Google itself does with this data beyond the choices described above. Pro subscribers are never shown ads, and none of this advertising data flow applies to them.

5. Diagnostics and Analytics

As of this policy's last-updated date, Go Cleanup does not collect crash reports, usage analytics, or any other diagnostic data about how you use the App, and does not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting service. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before doing so and, where applicable, honor your choice on the "Share anonymous analytics" toggle in Settings.

6. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, physical address, or government ID. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos, videos, contacts, or email content to train any AI/ML model, and we do not share them with data brokers.

7. Data Retention

On-device data (photos, videos, contacts) is retained or deleted according to your own actions in the App and your device's own storage — we don't separately retain it anywhere. Deleted or merged items sit in the App's recycle bin (or, on iOS, your device's own "Recently Deleted" album) for the retention period you choose in Settings (7, 14, or 30 days) before being permanently removed.

If you connect and later disconnect an email account, we retain no copy of your messages, because none was ever stored by us in the first place. Support emails you send us are retained in our support mailbox for as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can revoke photo/media, contacts, or notification permissions at any time from your device's system Settings. You can disconnect a connected email account from within the App at any time. You can reset all local App data (scan history, settings, connected email account, recycle bin) from Settings → Reset app — this does not affect your photos, videos, or contacts themselves.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA to access, delete, or object to processing of personal data we hold about you. Because the App is designed to avoid collecting personal data on our servers in the first place, there is typically very little for us to provide or delete beyond what's described in this policy — but you can still reach us at the contact below with any request.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Users

If you use the App outside the country where Inak IT Solutions LLC operates, be aware that any data described in this policy as leaving your device (email OAuth, purchase entitlement checks, and advertising data) may be processed by Google, RevenueCat, Apple, Microsoft, or their sub-processors in other countries, including the United States.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice inside the App.
